In todays second film of the ESAB charity series, sharing the stories of those living with sight loss in and around East Sussex, I introduce you to Joao:

Joao lives with Diabetic Retinopathy, and since his diagnosis he has taken an interest in volunteering to help other vision impaired people. Volunteering is such a large part of the ESAB charity and without this vital support, much of the brilliant care and service given to those in the local community would not be possible. In this film Joao talks about the satisfaction it brings him knowing he is able to help others and about how listening is the key to being a good volunteer!
