Wedding Videography Mentoring

With almost a decade of experience filming weddings, I have gained a wealth of knowledge and understanding of how to create a successful and sustainable heart-filled business in wedding videography. I have of course made plenty of mistakes along the way, but by learning from other filmmakers and not being afraid to try new things, I have been able to navigate the challenges that face us in this industry - from struggling along with little idea of what I was doing, to making mindful and bold creative choices to produce meaningful films for the couples that I serve..

For me though, a successful business is not just about the final product, it is as much about the belief you have in yourself, and your ability to push through your internal limits - and this is an area I am hugely passionate about. There are times when we feel stuck, or unable to overcome an obstacle that presents itself, but through my mentorship I will be there to delve deeper into you to help you finally achieve what you have always wanted and take your business and creativity further.

FACE TO FACE TRAINING

Face to face training can take place either at my home studio in East Sussex, or at your home studio (location dependent), and this gives us the opportunity to go through all aspects of your brand and business, as well as the creative approach to filmmaking. I will be there to share my insights and work with you to develop actionable steps that will help take your business and confidence to the next level. A complimentary 1 hour Skype follow up session is also included, to be taken within one month.

ONLINE TRAINING

For those who might prefer a virtual option, online training offers the ability to break training into smaller sessions that can be more focused on specific areas of interest. It is a great opportunity to ask any questions about my business or workflow, about working in the wedding videography industry as a whole, or to learn some tips from my years of film making experience. We can also go through your existing portfolio or brand together -  all in a safe environment where you can feel fully supported.

WEDDING SHOOT PLUS FOLLOW-UP SESSION

What I found most useful when I started filming weddings was getting out there and experiencing the day itself, learning how the day flows and how you might work within that to come away with footage at the end of the day that can be turned into beautiful films.

With this option, you will get to have a glimpse into how to navigate a wedding by joining me on a wedding day, having a go at filming along the way. You will learn how to work effectively with photographers, how to communicate with couples, and how to know what to film.

Once the day has passed, we then round off with a follow up Skype call where we can review footage, answer any burning questions and discuss how you can take what you've learnt forward.
